Asus Eee PC with Windows XP

The Asus Eee PC model 4G with Windows XP operating system preinstalled will be hitting the U.S. retail market in the first half of April, Laptop Magazine reports.

Asustek’s low-cost 7-inch ultraportable laptop with XP will be available at Best Buy for $399 starting April 9th, according to the report.

The Eee PC 4G with Linux OS also costs $399 at BestBuy. It includes an Intel Celeron M processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of Flash memory-based storage, and a built-in web camera.

ECS G10IL Mini-Notebook Unveiled

Elitegroup Computer Systems has officially unveiled the ECS G10IL mini-notebooks, featuring the Intel Atom “Diamondville” processor, 8.2-inch and 10.2-inch displays, and mobile broadband (HSPA) connectivity.
