HP Pavilion tx2000z Tablet PC Series

The recently announced HP Pavilion tx2000z series Tablet PC is now available for purchase through the Hewlett-Packard’s website.

The Tablet PC is powered by the AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 processor at 2.1GHz or the TL-64 at 2.2GHz, depending on customers choice. The system has the NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 integrated graphics and supports up to 4GB of DDR2 memory. The tx2000z ships with up to 250GB hard drive and a built-in DVD burner.

Regarding communications, there are an 802.11b/g or 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN module, an optional Bluetooth, a Verizon Wireless V740 ExpressCard option for EVDO broadband wireless connectivity, as well as Ethernet LAN and 56K modem connections.

HP Pavilion dv2800t Artist Edition

Hewlett-Packard has released the HP Pavilion dv2800t Artist Edition notebook series, featuring a design “created by young people, for young people”, and the latest Intel Centrino mobile technology.

Asus M70 Provides 1TB of Storage, Blu-ray

Asustek has announced the Asus M70 entertainment notebook, featuring a 17-inch display, up to 1TB of storage space, and Blu-ray support.

The M70 is based on Intel’s Centrino technology and comes with 65-nanometer Core 2 Duo T7500 and T7700 processors or 45nm T8100, T8300, and T9300 CPUs. The laptop includes the ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650 1GB video card (model M70SA) or Radeon HD3470 with 256MB VRAM (model M70SR), and up to 4GB of main memory. This notebook supports dual hard drives, providing 2×500GB of storage in the Asus M70SA model, as well as Blu-Ray optical drive option. The M70’s 17″ display has a high definition resolution of 1920-by-1200 pixels, and is accompanied by a 1.3-megapixel swivel web camera, mounted on the top of the LCD panel.

Lenovo IdeaPad U110B, U110R

The Lenovo IdeaPad U110 11.1-inch ultraportable notebook is coming soon to the United States, according to product pages at J&R.

The 2.3-pound IdeaPad U110 will be available at J&R in at least two versions – the black U110B and the U110R with a red top cover. The both models feature the Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 low-voltage processor at 1.6GHz, 3GB of RAM, and a 120GB hard drive. The laptop, which is only 0.7-inch high, does not include a built-in optical drive.

According to an earlier report at NotebookReview, the U100 includes the Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics, a 1.3-megapixel web camera, Ethernet LAN, Intel 4965AGN wireless, and Bluetooth connections, and a battery life of up to 8 hours. The notebook’s 11.1″ glossy widescreen display has a resolution of 1366-by-768 pixels.

Gateway M-6850FX

Gateway has announced the M-6850FX 15.4-inch laptop, the first model in company’s new M-Series FX Edition lineup.

The Gateway M-6850FX entertainment notebook features the Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 processor at 1.83GHz, ATI Radeon HD 2600 dedicated graphics, 3GB of RAM, a 320GB 5,400rpm hard drive, and DVD burner.

The laptop will be available at Best Buy at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $999.99. The availability date is currently unknown.

Gateway also announced its select notebook models will feature a 64-bit version of the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system. Vista 64-bit allows use of more than 3GB of main memory, which is a maximum for computers with a 32-bit OS.

Asus Eee PC with Windows XP

Asustek’s low-cost 7-inch ultraportable laptop with XP will be available at Best Buy for $399 starting April 9th, according to the report.

The Eee PC 4G with Linux OS also costs $399 at BestBuy. It includes an Intel Celeron M processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of Flash memory-based storage, and a built-in web camera.

ECS G10IL Mini-Notebook Unveiled

The “Diamondville” is Intel’s upcoming single core Atom CPU, designed for use in UMPCs, MIDs, and small laptops. In the ECS G10IL, it is accompanied by the Intel 945 GSE chipset, up to 2GB of system memory, and a hard drive or solid state drive, depending on model.

Dell Latitude E Series Coming in June
